RIS-ALiCE: Al-rich industrial residues for mineral binders in ESEE region

1st Hungarian National Workshop 

On Tuesday, December 10, 2019, the Hungarian National Workshop took place at Bay Zoltán Nonprofit Ltd for Applied Research in Budapest, Hungary. At the workshop the RIS-ALiCE project was presented and the situation about Al-rich residues in Hungary was discussed. Besides, other database-generating projects related to the Al-rich residues in cement industry were presented. The participants of the Workshops were waste owners, a waste transportation company, representatives of the Ministry of Information and Technology (who are responsible for the legislation of wastes in Hungary), Hungarian Mining Association, University of Miskolc who actively works in the field of Al-rich residue utilization, representative of Construction and Quality Control Nonprofit Ltd. During the workshop all participants discussed the ideas, experience and bottlenecks (mainly legislation) related to the work with Al-rich residues in Hungary. The Hungarian National Workshop provided a great opportunity to build a good relationship with the stakeholders.
