RIS-ALiCE: Al-rich industrial residues for mineral binders in ESEE region

Field visit and sampling of a fly ash in EFT-Rudnik and Termoelektrana Stanari Ltd.-Stanari

 

On November 1, 2019, Institute Kemal Kapetanovic (BiH) organized a field visit and sampling of a fly ash in EFT-Rudnik and Termoelektrana Stanari Ltd.-Stanari, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Firstly, the RIS-ALiCE project was presented to the colleagues of the EFT-Rudnik and Termoelektrana Stanari Ltd and Institute of mining – Prijedor. After the presentation, it was organized the visit of the fly ash disposal cassette from EFT-Rudnik and Termoelektrana Stanari Ltd., from where samples of the fly ash are taken for a further analysis.

On Novembar 1, 2019, Institute Kemal Kapetanović (BiH) organized also a field visit and sampling of red mud in ALUMINA Ltd. – Zvornik. Colleagues from the Institute Kemal Kapetanović together with the colleagues from the Institute of mining – Prijedor went to the village of Đulici near Zvornik, where a red mud dump is based and samples of the red mud are taken for a further analysis.
